Ian Overmier, 28, was riding north on Twelfth Avenue on June 4, 2022, when police said he tried to pass a driver turning right onto West 46th Street in Hell’s Kitchen. Police said he could not get around, lost control and hit a curb, and the impact threw him from the motorcycle. Medics took him to Mount Sinai West, where he died.
