What police said happened in Mott Haven

Police told the Daily News that a 24-year-old man operating a Razor dirt bike was heading south on Bruckner Boulevard when he lost control and crashed into a Western Star tanker about 7 a.m. The tanker driver was turning left off Southern Boulevard, and city records list the tanker as westbound and making a left turn.

The dirt bike operator and passenger Jaydin Arroyo both fell into the roadway. Medics took Arroyo to Lincoln Hospital, where he died, and took the operator to the same hospital in stable condition.
