George Robinson, 42, was hit near Beach Channel Drive and Horton Avenue in Far Rockaway around 11 p.m. on June 7, after police said he stepped into the westbound lane. The Daily News reported that a 32-year-old driver in a 2017 Kia Sorento stayed at the scene and was not arrested.
